February [Pattern Play]

As you may recall, I decided to make a little challenge out of picking the possible kate spade new york Year of Pattern patterns.

I was thinking February was just a general Florence Broadhurst month, but kate spade’s email and blog cleared things up for me the other day. It’s specifically Florence Broadhurst Japanese Floral month. 1 Point for me – Florals were on the list!

BTW, if you haven’t read it, I highly recommend the book, Florence Broadhurst: Her Secret and Extraordinary Lives by Helen O’Neill. I think I picked it up a couple years ago at Anthropologie, but don’t quote me on that. There’s a new edition with a fancy Japanese Floral cover that should give you all the same info about her life.
